Project Overview
On May 16th, 2024, I served as the sole visual designer for a pop-up exhibition presented by Pratt Institute’s MFA in Communications Design in collaboration with La MaMa Galleria. The show featured selected student works exploring themes of identity, society, and nature in the digital era.
Design Strategy
During our busy thesis season, I was the sole designer for the exhibition’s visual identity. With limited time, I focused on clear communication paired with a bold, cyberpunk-inspired look using hot pink—a striking, gender-neutral color symbolizing our theme of human-technology relationships. Despite using minimal elements, I created variation through playful typography and layout shifts across posters, brochures, participant lists, and social media. The inflatable man installation referenced All Watched Over by Machines of Loving Grace, reflecting our dynamic yet controlled exploration of tech and identity.
